How the right variation improves position, control, progression and execution without adding unnecessary complexity.

Exercise variations should solve something — They should help you improve position, clean up execution, match the movement to your level, or train a quality more directly. If a variation does none of that, it is probably just adding noise.

A different exercise is not automatically a better one. The variation still needs a job — Support your main lifts. Not just for change.
